Summary

Jazz survives where he should have fallen, saved by a mysterious femme whose golden-lit wings mark her as unlike any Cybertronian they’ve ever known. She calls herself Stellar. She cannot transform. She has no clear origin. Yet her presence echoes in every spark she touches, unsettling and undeniable.
As fragile alliances form between humans and Autobots, Stellar is drawn into their ranks. But mistrust and old rivalries run deep, and her place among them will be tested when complications arise on both sides.
Bound by sparks, they will come to realize that Stellar’s existence is tied to something far greater than their war… and perhaps, the fate of Cybertron itself.

Or rather, it began after one of those peculiarly novel days, long after both suns had set, and no metal gleamed with anything other than the warm light of streetlamps and bedroom windows. Within one of these windows, upon his two-mech berth with its exorbitantly thick padding and new-age recharging capabilities, sat Optimus Prime. Optimus Prime was of that same gleam-capable metal which adorned his planet now, armor unmarred by war and plating remade in peace, and the bedroom light dutifully shone off of him in a spectacular show of cozy resplendence. Also shining were the tears that filmed the inside of his digits.
