He knows he can't keep blaming himself for Eddie's death, but the more he tries to convince himself, the more complicated his emotions become. Unfortunately, that's not his only problem. The pair are drenched in sexual tension as Eddie tries to teach the class how to paint, and Steve attempts to follow along. Then Steve finds out Robin has been trying to set them up for months, while she finds out the two men have developed crushes on each other before meeting.
“Told ya.” Robin pulls Steve back from his thoughts, and he sees her standing there with her arms crossed, smirking.

Eddie rarely had a band open for him, let alone a band of a different genre, but he hadn’t seen someone perform with so much confidence and comfort on stage in a while.
To some extent, it made him a little jealous, seeing someone else, especially Steve Harrington, doing what Eddie did - being hot on stage, that is - but Eddie knew talent when he saw it. And a love for the music and for the lights that was genuine, no matter how much he milked his performance.
Steve barely has the opportunity to find Eddie in the audience before Eddie’s hopping onto the stage with his band. And Steve feels like he’s watching a real life rock star on a big ass stage surrounded by thousands of seats and lights and cameras. Suddenly all of his anxieties are washed away. The sound of the crowd disappears and it’s just Eddie.
