Everything hurt. The day had started out fine: He’d done some schedule planning in the morning, decided his week-long goals, tormented Grian… It had been a good morning. A perfectly nice, normal morning. A good morning that should’ve led into a good, productive day.
And then the headache started. It had come on as slowly as ever. He’d thought it would stay at an annoying but not debilitating level. And now Doc was stuck in bed. His blackout curtains blocked most of the light from the windows, and he kept his lamp off. There was no reason to make things worse.
