Wandering through space, their long range beacon damaged, the pods floated aimlessly through the void until eventually falling on earth in the 21st century.

So much about this is recommended.
One, it’s sooo different compared to other Reader x Sans stories
Two, it’s a Reader x Sans story that ISNT a classic sans, Underfell sans, 8 au sans in one story sanses, or a bitty sans story.
Three, omg it so detailed without shoving detailed in your face
Four, this gets into sans in a way that is so different, and could be probably tagged as ‘sans character study’ and no one who has read the whole thing would be able to argue with you.
Five, also shows culture differences between two (arguably three) cultures.
Six, I can not stress this enough, shows a COMPLETELY different sans.
Seven, papyrus is dead (oops spoilers)
Eight, there’s an anomaly, but it’s not who you think it is.
Nine, Reader is adorable, but deserves to be treated with LOVE sans. Not with you pretending not to love her, and trying to act like she’s a pet (even if she likes it)
Ten, Explicit sexual scenes can happen every other chapter give or take, so if you don’t like don’t read this.
Eleven, Reader likes being degraded sexually.
And twelve, I LOVE THIS STORY SO MUCH OMG AND IT ACTUALLY ISNT A EXPLICIT MEANS PORN WITHOUT PLOT OR EXTREMELY DARK VIOLENCE OR EXTREME PORN WITH OUT PLOT AND VIOLENCE STORY!!! The author tries hard to not let the story get too dark and depressing without losing the serious themes they’re trying to tell. And I appreciate that so, so much!

Now Nightmare and Ink fight and try to make Error join a side, Error somehow gained a cult following, people are thinking Error is a God, and too many Monsters are after Error's love. You don't have much of a choice in staying as you have nowhere else to go and have no work experience. But, perhaps it isn't so bad? After all, being the only female in the house certainly has it's advantages. Especially when one of the other tenants goes into heat.
