Summary
New Year’s meant new resolutions, and while normally Ed didn’t give a fuck about needing a new year to make a new habit, he and Stede had come up with a decidedly inventive way to nip bad habits in the bud.

Summary
He jumped at the first blow, inhaling sharply. “Yes,” he breathed, eyes fluttering closed, and Ed’s own breath shuddered out of him at whatever he saw.
“Fucking perfect,” Ed rasped. “Can’t wait for you to see.”
Stede and Ed add a little something new to enhance one of their favorite ways to spend an evening.

Summary
When Ed saw Stede's name in the booking list for the day he couldn't stop himself grinning. Stede was becoming a regular customer, and Ed loved spending any and all time he could get with him. He just wished piercing appointments took longer. Plus, he had the feeling Stede had a little bit of a crush on him. He definitely returned it.

Summary
The scalpel inched down, tracing a memory; traced around the scar from Stede's duel with Izzy, so many months ago.
"Who gave this to you?" the man asked, tip of the knife pressing dangerously against the scar. "How far inside did he reach you?"
That night, Stede slept against the hard wooden floor of the ship, and he dreamed of the man as an incubus.
Stede is captured by Ned Low, as revenge for the Kraken's sins. Edward and Izzy race against the clock to save him, before Ned Low completes his masterpiece.

Summary
Stede gulps. He can see the rage and fire in Ed’s eyes. “Me!” he says, pointedly staying in place even as Ed looms closer. “Why, um, why are there two of you?”
The Ed in front of him grins. “Because this idiot—” and he pauses to shove the Ed by Stede’s side away “—thought he could get rid of me.”
“You were supposed to be gone!” the other Ed tells him, and he lets out a frustrated huff.
Ed laughs, and it sends a cold shiver down Stede’s spine. “The Kraken will never be gone.”
After Stede's return, things are not all right. Edward decides that the best way to fix it is to get rid of the parts that make him the Kraken. But the Kraken isn't so easy to get rid of, which leaves the Revenge with both the gentle Edward and the vicious Kraken.
But it's fine. Izzy can spend time with the more vicious Blackbeard like he wants, and Stede can spend time with the more gentle Edward like he wants. They all get to be happy. Right?

Summary
Stede’s eyes darted to Ed briefly before focusing back on the hoop in his hands. “You’ll be much more comfortable in that, darling,” he said. His eyes flickered back to Ed’s open neck, exactly as he had hoped. “And I must say, you look like a properly dashing romantic hero.”
“You’re one to talk,” Ed purred, prowling across the bed now that the piles of mended clothing were out of the way. “Hidden away and doing the mending like some kind of fairy tale princess being forced to work as a servant. Sitting in your bower in nothing but your smalls and waiting for some knight to come ravish you.”
Stede watched Ed prowl toward him with the same wide-eyed wonder he always did—as if he couldn’t believe his luck. “What fairy tales have you been reading?” Stede asked breathlessly. “Certainly not the ones I tell during story time. I don’t quite remember them going that way.”
_______
Seeking relief from the blazing summer sun, Ed makes an afternoon discovery that leads to a very happy ending indeed.

Summary
“Come here,” Stede orders, so Ed tucks his face into the crook of Stede’s neck, pressed between his jaw and his arm. He breathes again, a warm rush against Stede’s throat, ruffling at the collar of his shirt. “Are you well?”
“Yeah,” Ed murmurs. The hands on Stede’s hips smooth around to the small of his back and Ed squeezes gently. “Doin’ good.”
“Good. You’re doing very well, Ed.” Ed hums against the thin skin of Stede’s throat, then presses a kiss to it. “Remember that you can stop me if you need to.”
“I will. I promise.”
“Good man. Bite me.” -

Summary
"I think there might be something wrong with Izzy," Stede says hesitantly.
There are many, many things wrong with First Mate Israel Hands, but that's a conversation for another day and one he won't be able to have with Ed, who seems to think that Izzy is a fairly normal example of a human being (or at least is fond enough of him not to care when he gets bratty.)
