12:24PM: Riza goes to lunch with Rebecca. Rebecca pries about Roy.
1:11PM: Riza calls Roy to tell him how much she misses him. They make evening plans.
4:37PM: Riza and Roy go on the closest thing they've ever had to a date. Roy ruins it.
6:45PM: They return home. Riza storms off to her room.
7:03PM: Riza emerges from her room just in time to share hot tea and a workout with Roy, only to immediately regret both.
8:59PM: Roy interrupts Riza's nightly shower. She tries (and fails) to make him pay for it.

“Oh, you’re such a fucking brat. You’re in need of some discipline today, aren’t you? Need me to show you who you belong to?” Roy all but growls, and he’s pushing Riza against the wall, holding her wrists above her head with a single gloved hand and kissing down the column of her throat. “That’s fine. I’ll mark up this pretty neck for everyone to see.”
It’s a battle; a battle that Roy has effectively challenged her to with his threat. They’ve talked about it- set boundaries and rules, limits and safe words to make sure that it never gets out of hand- but it always ends the same when they’re like this; the dichotomous mixture of the lust they feel for one another and the tension that’s bound to build from their stressful lives reaches a fever pitch, they fight about one thing or another, and it turns into a question of who’s going to win the inevitable battle for sexual dominance that follows.
Though, it’s not really a question, because Roy always wins. Because that’s what Riza wants. But the fun is in the battle, even if Riza knows it’s only fought to be lost.
