I'm planning a Monster Of The Week campaign (a bit like Dungeons And Dragons) and would love the motivation really to keep writing it and ideas for it. It's not a book but there will be arcs and characters you'll learn to love with twists and turns at every corner!
It's set in the UK in modern day in a rural town named Coille and the Fey folk trying to take over it whilst our heroes attempt to save the day and solve mysteries.

The HERO walks through the gates, knowing that as of right now, their soul is forfeit and will only be returned to them if they can survive their quest and get back to the entrance.
The CANARY has been tricked, the promises that seemed so good are now known to be too good. Nothing was ever that good, and nothing was ever that good without a price.
The STRIVING escaped one hell to end up in another. They didn’t like their odd while they were alive, but here they can at least lay low and blend in with everyone else. Even if it is miserable.

Sola is a Warden of the Ironlands, a cold, hard, land that is humanity's only refuge since they lost the war against the forces of The Dark. As a Warden Sola is a protector. With her Half Firstborn-blooded companion, Erin, they undertake quests to help humanity survive against dark forces, beasts, and other dangers.

“Yes, dude?” Aelius was rinsing the ice cream tub Lilium had hastily left in the sink when they were called to work earlier.
Before Lilium could lose courage, they closed the remaining distance between them in two quick strides. They put a hand on Aelius’s chest, slowly pushing them back until he was pressed against the cold wall. Their cool, green eyes fixed intently on the other male’s face.
He was definitely attractive. Hot, even. His already-handsome features seemed to be enhanced by the light makeup Lilium had put on him. Especially the red eyeliner. It made Aelius’s gaze more… intense. They bit their lower lip at the thought. His long, red hair with its rattail looked so tempting to pull. If Lilium met him in a bar, not knowing who he was, they would probably flirt and make out with him on the same night (with consent).
Also, they had made out right on Lilium's living room floor a few hours ago. If they weren’t interrupted, it probably would’ve escalated into something else.
It was fairly reasonable for them to ask this kind of favor… right?
