Summary
Eddie Munson has long since found his niche in life - writing has always come easy to him and making a career of it was the third easiest choice he'd ever made.
The first was accepting the courting of his now mate and husband, Steve Harrington, and until now, writing had been the second... but deciding he was ready for pups with his Alpha easily took it's place.
Now, if only he'd gone about the question a little more... delicately.
Not that he minded the end result.

Summary
Steve strode out into the hall and headed toward the Media room. He pulled out his phone, checking for any missed voice messages. Eddie had been able to get out of helping with the dance by pulling the “child at home” card for the fifth year in a row…even though their child was now 12 and Robin and her girlfriend lived right across the street. Steve pressed down the voicemail button, continuing down the hall.
“You have ONE new message ‘Hey, babe! Hope the gym’s coming along! Me and Ev are just hanging out. At home. Clea- uh, watching TV- Daaaad! Hurry Up! We need to get the- Ev!’ To save message press-” Steve hung up, scowling.

Summary
Steve is happy. Because life is good.
It's perfect.
Or it would be, if not for the one thing he wishes he could change.
The one, big mistake he made along the way.
The one dream his past self had, that would’ve been worth chasing.
Eddie.

Summary
City park bathrooms aren’t famous for their cleanliness, nor on weekend nights under the dim illumination of streetlights are they the pinnacle of a family friendly experience. Surrounded in the quiet chatter of a few other men, lingering around the ins and outs of the space among clouds of stagnant smoke and curiously wandering eyes. Steve had given up this particular setting a long time ago for one less public, safer if anything could ever earn that title in these fragile contexts, but the thrill was never quite there.
The adrenaline, the anonymity, sometimes even the danger. He couldn’t get that same rush of fear in the basement of a well known bar, hidden far away from the public eye. Shielded within a tight bubble of familiarity and inclusion. The craving for the opposite is foolish, he above all knows that for a fact, but a boring life which lacks the substance of his own truth does nothing to keep him in the way of a usual family man - loyal and absolved of personal fault.
OR...
There's far more than meets the eye to this secret affair with an innocent young man that just seems to keep wandering his way into Steve Harrington's crosshairs.

Summary
After graduating and living with his parents in Chicago for two years, Steve's heart pulled him back to a certain small town in Indiana where he felt most comfortable. Aside from the yelling and crying from children he’s experiencing now while volunteering for an elementary school, his memories of Hawkins burned with nostalgia. Sure, he spent his entirety of high school hiding his identity and being an asshole to fit in amongst the crowd but times have changed, he felt a new sense of self-worth walking past a large pride section in the mall and not feeling quite as guilty and alone.

Or: Steve Harrington moves back to his home town to find life outside of his parents, making new and unexpected friends or even something a little more.

Since he got his second chance.

Things are so different now sometimes it’s hard to believe it’s real; that the monsters that once plagued him were gone for good.
That life was good now.
He has his bakery, the love of his life, amazing friends.
So when Steve finds him, hunched on the couch, bottle of $300 whiskey between his knees, he’s beyond embarrassed.

Summary
Eddie didn’t think about death much, or at least he tried not to. It was more out of spite than anything. Heaven and Hell were the most common rhetorics. If that was the case, Eddie’s pretty sure he’d be in the latter, all of Hawkins thought so anyway.
He expected it to be cold, painful, lonely.
No, that wasn’t it. Eddie felt alive.
-or-
Eddie wakes up in 2003 and won't shut up about how hot Steve is.

Summary
An unassuming middle class Chicago suburb is not where you’d expect to find the home of a certified rock legend, but that’s where I found myself when looking to interview the elusive Eddie Munson.
In stark contrast from his seemingly no holds barred, outrageous on-stage persona, Eddie Munson has remained a tough nut to crack when it comes to tying him down for an interview about more personal matters than music. He is notoriously private about his life offstage and has kept a fairly tame profile compared to many of his contemporaries from the Seattle grunge scene. But today I was granted the interview everyone has been after, the man himself is ready to let us in and let me tell you ladies & gentlemen, you’re in for a treat, Munson’s got a few bombshells to drop.

Years after graduating Hawkins High School, Steve Harrington and Eddie Munson are unexpectedly drawn back into each others lives through a community LGBTQ+ support initiative at Hawkins Middle School. What starts are just awkward close proximity, quickly unearths a decades worth of unresolved tension, guilt and personal transformation, leading them to be at each other’s necks for way longer than necessary.

Summary
Eddie arranges him on the platform, leaning his weight on his elbow and his hip, the other leg bent. He adjusts the drape of Steve's other arm so that it's across his hip and then he lifts the hem of Steve's shirt, draping it so that it exposes his belly. Eddie's fingers brush his jaw again, nudging his face to one side.
"Are you sure this doesn't look ridiculous?" says Steve, watching Eddie as he pads back behind the camera.
"You definitely don't look ridiculous, man," says Eddie, shooting a few frames. "I know you probably feel it right now, because you're not used to it, but, trust me — camera loves you, dude. You look like a wet dream."Now Steve's definitely blushing. He knows his face won't make it into the shot — he signed a contract, after all — but Eddie can see it. He finds that he doesn't mind that so much; it doesn't seem to be bothering Eddie, anyway, Maybe, like the growing hard-on, it's kind of the point…
or Eddie is a photographer in need of a model. Steve could do with the extra cash.

Summary
Loss of control is a scary thing.
When your ability to make conscious decisions gets undermined by raging instincts that orchestrate your every move. When, somewhere in the far back of your debilitated mind, you know you shouldn’t do what you’re doing but whatever has taken over, won’t let you act on better judgement.
This is what’s happening to Eddie. And it doesn’t help at all that he still has half a mind to tell himself that this will finally be the stupidest thing he’s ever done.

Summary
The door starts to open for the first time, and Eddie's ankles are chained together, so he can't move fast, but he tries his best. There's no time. The door opens, a man with a burlap sack is shoved into the room, and then the door clangs shut again. Heavy locks turning.
The guy is shoeless, only wearing a pair of shorts. His hairy chest on display, and he looks like —
No. No, no, no.
Eddie reaches up and yanks the sack off his head, and lets out a pained whine. He shouldn't be here, and he put up a fight not to be, clearly. His nose is caked with dried blood, and his left eye has a painful looking bruise forming underneath it.
Eddie's heart sinks.
