Quirin had always been there for the village of Corona. Heck he's been there for the entire kingdom! He's poured everything he had into protecting it's citizens and keeping everyone safe. He'd focused so much time on the kingdom, in fact, that he neglected the most important person in his life! He's now determined to fix that.

Quirin is a good dad who made mistakes and is making up for them, slowly! In fact, he makes up for them in fluffy one shots, which is the best way to do it!

Summary
I started this story back in 2020 and since then it has grown into the biggest and longest story ive ever written.
After the events of the end of season one, this story follows Varian as he fights to free himself from prison and free Quirin. A rewrite of canon with a bunch of new ideas and a plentiful serving of angst. This will include vat7k eventually.
I'm really bad at summaries and I worked really hard on the story, so please go read itThe whole story is planned out and most of it is prewritten and just needs to be edited so i have no idea when I will be updating, but i imagine it will be at least once or twice a week.

Summary
Life has never been easy for anyone, especially for Varian. He seemed to be cursed or something. Even though he doesn’t like to base his explanation on magic, his life did seem to be affected by it. Especially since the black rocks appeared. Ever since then he was acting out of character, getting mad more often and having trouble sleeping. But the moment he talked to Rapunzel and promised to help with the rocks, everything fell apart.
But now a new opportunity has shown. He could find a way to free his dad and get rid of the rocks. And he could find all of that by just… going on an adventure?
OR; Varian joins the gang in season 2 and he meets Hugo there. ^^

The wolf looks up at him through eyes half-lidded with exhaustion. He blinks slowly, then his body goes limp. When Varian holds him closer to his chest, the wolf leans into his touch ever so slightly, as if he understands Varian’s words. As if he believes them. He blinks once, twice, before his eyelids flutter shut.
With an aching heart, Varian leans in close enough for his lips to brush the top of the pup’s head. He doesn’t say anything, but he doesn’t need to, for an oath spoken through silence is just as powerful as one spoken through words.
