Nya stiffened, and she clenched her fists. The water resurfaced and launched at Morro. He yelped and quickly ducked, the water slamming against the wall behind him. “Oh, aren’t I?” She said coldly.
Morro scrambled to regain his posture, his hand on the grip of his double bladed swallow. “I’m your best shot at getting your metal friend back, aren’t I?” He tried to say nonchalantly, but tension leaked into his tone. Nya faltered.

What was that voice? It was weirdly familiar. It wasn't the weirdest thing in this situation though. His whole body felt weird. Or... he couldn't feel his body at all. It felt empty, cold. Freezing. It felt like one of the times he had lost his elemental fire, except way, way colder.
"...this may come as a shock, but you have transitioned out of the living world."
He felt a tingling, as if new limbs were growing out of nowhere. The bright light was slowly fading out.
What? Out of the living world? No, he couldn't have. Everything had happened too fast, he couldn't even do anything. He couldn't be...

Instead of getting stuck in the nether space after the blood moon ritual, Kai dies (they sacrifice his soul) and meets Morro in the Spectral Lands

Morro, having died again finds himself in a yucky, no good, terrible bog in the departed realm. Finally free of the Preeminent's influence on him, he finds solace in a couple who offered to take him in. He starts to get to know them better. That is until those dumbass ninja show up and fuck everything up. again.
Kai missed his parents. He had a hole in his heart that someone like Wu just cant fill. He loves Wu, sure, but he never had the influence of his parents, not in his early years, and certainly not in his older years. He just wants to meet them.. just once would be enough. So he does. He goes off to the departed realm, dragging a few others with him but when he finally tracks them down there, he doesn't expect the ghost who opens the door to be.. Morro?

Now taking on the role of defending Ninjago from the forces of evil wishing to upset the balance, Vayu must align herself with the Ninja.
But when masks are broken, and secrets are revealed, Vayu and the ninja will have to overcome the consequences, before everything in their path is shattered and destroyed.
(This is basically a big what if my character was in the original plot, except for S11, that’s getting a whole rewrite, plan is to go from S4-Dragons Rising! Started this in 2022 and updates may get slow if motivation decides to be cruel.)

Lloyd was getting pretty sick and tired of getting kidnapped by snakes and evil scientists and nindroid armies, let alone all three at once. The only way it could be worse was adding his dad, a time machine, or a ghost.
Way to jinx it.
Morro was perfectly miserable suffering through his afterlife in the Departed Realm, avoiding sage life lessons from the annoyingly persistent Sensei G. He was not expecting to be resurrected by a crazy mad scientist set on taking over all sixteen realms. He was even less prepared to face the green ninja - Lloyd - again, injured and imprisoned.
So, he has a choice to make. Help the good doctor burn Ninjago to the ground, or do something crazy and stupid.
FSM, Garmadon must be rubbing off on him.
