To sell the illusion, each of their companions offers helpful suggestions that Brynne and Blackwall then have to bring to life - escalating from awkward to indecent at alarming speed. There's a duel. A dance. A disheveled entrance. Qunari ropes. A performance so audacious that it makes maidens faint and matrons blush.
It was supposed to be political theater. But it's starting to feel like a confession instead.
