But when he's hit with a ray gun by a low-level goon, he ends up in an upside-down universe where Bruce isn't constantly disappointed in him, and he isn't allowed to fade into the background.

The assassin looks just as confused as Tim feels. Tim stands to look around at their surroundings, it’s Gotham, he’s sure of it. The assassin rips off their cowl. And Tim turns on them, grabbing their collar and shaking them.
“What did you do?”
The assassin break Tim’s grip and stumbles back. “I don’t know.” It’s a plea of innocence as Tim looks into golden eyes. “There was a Talon, a Talon, yes.” Tim knows that all of Ra’s assassin know English but this one didn’t seem to know as much as Tim was used too.
“And then what? What did you do?” The assassin looked nervous before waving their hands, a poor imitation of jazz hands. “Magic?”
