ORIGINAL SUMMARY:
The White Collar team is sent to Gotham, of all places, in search of a criminal that is part of Gotham's criminal circles. Neal Caffrey is sent in to con his way through getting information out of criminals in a Gotham bar.
Instead, Tim Drake gets recognized as Jackie Malone by a friend, and then has to call Superboy to save him from having a panic attack in a random Gotham alleyway.
Not that he's ever going to admit to the FBI that he had a panic attack.

That was how Tim awoke.
Over the past week, weather begun frosting over in New York. It welcomed malevolent rain that congealed on the streets, and the ominous rumbling of thunder. This should have undoubtedly alarmed the undercover man; however, he bounded on with his days, blissfully oblivious. Now, as orange rays of sunlight illuminate his apartment at dawn, Tim was forced to belatedly confront his mistake.
He should’ve realised that the wailing rainstorm from the night before was a premonition for when he awoke with no feeling in his throat.
OR
Tim’s old scar from his fight with Jason flares up in the cold weather and leaves him mute for the day. He is still undercover as Neal Caffrey so, of course, everything spirals out of control from there.

‘Neal’ is obviously not his name which means that either they think he’s ‘Neal’, they know him as ‘Neal’ or he gave them a fake name before he passed out. The look of genuine concern and familiarity in the woman’s gaze makes him throw out the third assumption nearly immediately.

“Who are you? Where am I?” He asks, straight to the point. They look like they know him, more so than someone concerned about a stranger would be - how much time is he missing?
