And by the way he glowed, Shinsou would also bet he was a star reincarnated as a person...His cheeks were stained with a rosy flush, as if he were sunburned. Or, the way Shinsou saw it, sun-kissed. Like Apollo himself came down from the heavens and kissed each of Bakugou’s cheeks in the way Shinsou so badly wanted to.
As he pushed his hair away from his face, he realized there was no way, in any universe, for Bakugou to like him. There was no universe where that happened.
What is the sun to a small exoplanet anyway? Something far away, something unattainable. Stars and suns go together, rogue exoplanets do not.

“And what if we decide their help is unnecessary,” Izuku asked. He and Bakugou made a good team. A better than good team.
“If you do not want to work with us, then the case will no longer be your concern,” the man said, “But I assure you these heroes are the best. However, my recommendation, the one we need for this case, is on top.”
Both heroes looked at the case file in sync. The only print on the top file: Ghost.
Midoriya and Bakuogu are tasked with working with another hero in order to find and stop villains from unleashing a bioweapon, blind to the fact that the hero, known only as Ghost, knows more about them than he's letting on. He intends to keep it that way.

Shouto started UA with low expectations. That way, reality couldn’t possibly fail to meet them. He hoped to skate by as under the radar as his recognizable name and distinct face would allow, as he had for his entire elementary and middle school careers. He often found himself curling inward, making himself as physically small as he could, and pushing his bangs to cover his eyes so that no one would ask the inevitable “what happened there?” Fortunately, his new class housed more personality than it could hope to contain, so fading into the background was easy.
(Or, Shouto navigates the perils of figuring out how to be a regular kid through the lens of where he sits a lunch. Fast tracks a lot of the events of the first year and focuses on the in-between moments, then moves into their second year at UA)

Fear was another thing that clawed at her chest.
“... What?” His voice was soft, weak. It felt wrong, and she was the reason he sounded like that. Guilt squeezed her heart tight.
“Problem Child.” Her mouth clarified despite her internal narrator screaming, crying for her to bite her tongue to keep the words inside. “I don’t like it.”
