These wings varied in shade, but depending on your actions in your life, the shade lightens, or darkens.
The actions done in hate, or selfishness stain your wings a little darker each time.
The purer, selfless actions lighted your wings.There is a tale that is told- of an angel- with wings so white it’s blinding - but such a person is yet to be proven real.
Each player’s wings are able to be concealed and revealed with a simple code that only the bearer knows.
This was instilled to ensure privacy to each wing bearer.

Summary
The first time he stole was nothing big. Dream was ten, and at that time didn’t go by Dream at all. He merely stole a loaf of bread to feed his sister, and then when he got away with it, stole more. At first it was food, but when he, at the time a tiny, scrawny child, realized he could steal money and get away with it, there was no going back.
Mostly it was to support his sister. She was sickly, and the only one that stayed by his side. A lot of trinkets he stole from the wealthy got pawned to exchange for money to pay for her medicine, until one day he got caught. He was trying to sneak an elaborate pocket watch off of a tall nobleman and got cocky. Dream could have just taken his wallet, which was sticking rather obviously out of the noble’s pocket but went for the prize and got thrown in jail for two months because of it. He was fourteen, and when he was finally released, his sister was dead.
