Scaramouche, in desperate need of a new weapon after Signora snapped his old polearm (for fun, she says, psychotic motherfucker), decides to pull for a catalyst and try switching his weapon type. What he gets is not exactly what he wants.
Otherwise known as: Tartaglia should keep his mouth shut if he knows what's good for him, Signora fears for her life, and Eye of Perception should be deleted from the game.
*Written like two years ago before Signora died and before Scaramouche became an anemo Wanderer. I live for Harbinger trio.

A mysterious commission from someone in Inazuma leads Aether to Sumeru for the search of Kunikuzushi, also known as The Balladeer, leading to an investigation and return to a cold case on the murders of Tatarasuna. Follow Heizou, Aether, Kazuha, Xiao, Albedo, as well as many others as they uncover the truth and save Sumeru from the clutches of The Doctor and his unwilling assistant Scaramouche.
*This was written and planned before Scaramouche's backstory was fully released, back when everyone thought Katsuragi and Niwa were the same person. So if you get confused as the story goes on, just remember that. All ships are pretty minor*

After the fight, Scaramouche is taken to the Serenetea Pot for some recovery. Aether has an idea of bringing someone with some common ground to help aid in his healing but it’s a bumpy road.

But Heizou, ever the energetic one, bursts through the front door with a loud whistle, startling them both. “Ah, you sly bastards!” he yells, and kicks off his shoes in a flurry, one of them hitting the wall. “It’s pouring out there! Move or I’ll cannonball into that tub.”
“I will blow the water out,” Scaramouche warns, shifting Kazuha slightly.

To be able to receive a supreme gnosis Scaramouche has scrubbed away all trace of human emotion. Though for some reason his body aches, screams and curls in on itself after he has finally pushed the power container into his chest.
Ignoring the pain, he searches for someone to test his powers on and luckily stumbles upon a maple wearing stranger.
However, the torturing pain in his chest grows all the more consuming until he is barely able to move anymore. Nonetheless, he needs to get himself together in order to rub his supremity into his creator's face - whatever the costs are he will gladly bear them.
