Summary
L’manburg was founded just a decade ago and problems have already started to start. All across the globe people have started using their powers for harm instead of good, more laws are being passed trying to restrict the use of them. This and with the newly elected president Schlatt -who is trying to change the country completely- things have gone downhill. Yet Tommy is ready to have a new start, even if that means coming to a completely new country. Tommy gets a job at ‘Captains cafe’ and things are going good. Until his nightmares start to come back and he needs a healthier outlet. Tommy puts on a hoodie and gets an old mask and goes to fight crime, he ends up getting more attention then he would like and ends up having both heroes and villains out to get him. Tommy Danger Kraken Innit is completely ultimately screwed.

Laws and ordinances, put into operation just after the death of the Triad of Kinoko (consisting of Karl Jacobs, Sapnap, and GeorgeNotFound), have made the place into something unrecognisable. Some residing in this modern hole-in-the-wall some 150 mo- er, years later argue that the changes are for the better. Some say they are for worse.
But what of our protagonist? For every story has one, dear reader, whether the poor soul realises it or not. Where do they stand? How do these laws and demands affect them, their daily life? (For that matter, how are they able to live?)
And what would they do- hypothetically- if everything fell to hell in a handbasket before their very eyes?
...Well. Let's find out together, shall we?

The day of Tommy’s trial arrived much quicker than he’d been expecting.
He was hanging out with Tubbo and making potions they both pretended were drugs one moment, and then bam! He found himself standing behind a crappy wooden desk in a courtroom, with his supposed best friend standing on a podium in front of him, glaring down at him, and Dream to his left smirking at him like the world’s smuggest jackass.
Needless to say, Tommy was not doing good.
Emotions he couldn’t properly identify were battling it out in his gut, twisting it uncomfortably. And it all came to a head when Tubbo coldly asked him to present his defense argument. His brain left him to handle it on his own and dipped out of there. He stared at his best friend blankly for almost a minute. Long enough for the other teen’s irritation to turn into confusion, and then worry. And then there was a big puff of smoke that obfuscated his vision for a few seconds. When it cleared out, the world around him was bigger and warmer and… oh. He knew what had just happened.

This was literally the worst possible outcome that could’ve come from his and his foster mothers’ argument. Like, he expected maybe a scolding when he got back, or at worst the police called on him for running away, but no. Honest to god aliens.Or,
Humans are a young race, and Tommy, a particularly volatile human, is plucked from his home and forced to survive in a foreign land. It certainly doesn't help with the fact that the whole of galactic society is under the impression humans lack the ability for complex thought.
