(Steve and Bucky announce their relationship in a very dignified press conference. Bucky then replies to every goddamn tweet asking him to confirm it with a different dirty euphemism. Things escalate from there.)

I came because I have a terrible weakness for this trope. I stayed because it was remarkably... them. A wonderful exploration of a married relationship between Hannibal and Will. There's the sweet side of their marriage: the comfort, domesticity, and love, as well as the darker aspects: the undercurrents and games. The fic stays true to their relationship, and it offers details, perspectives, and new dynamics with other characters.
I always laugh at Will's students and how much they thirst after him. I loved seeing Bedelia, Beverly, and Alana's thoughts. Great take on Season 1 without taking away the essence of Will and Hannibal's characters, in my humble and sleepdeprived opinion.
