Summary
2038. Ten years prior the information about the existence of vampires leaked to the general public and the world changed forever. The Night Council, their primary body of government, signed an accord with some of the most influential human nations, and night-dwellers became recognized citizens of the world. But tension is still high between the two races.
In addition, the number of uncharacteristically savage attacks led by vampires towards humans is growing, straining the already fragile peace.
