Summary
Cassandra was a beautiful Trojan princess, a character written by Homer in the Iliad, by Virgil in the Aeneid, by Aeschylus and Euripides and Seneca the Younger.
Sam had read them all. With his bad leg, and Brother Adam and Marcus busy with work, he couldn't really do much else to pass the time but read. He couldn't spend his days endlessly nagging Maggie, who, for all her kindliness, also had her own duties to attend. Or, moreso, he wouldn't—he wanted to grow up to be a gentleman like his brother, after all.
With nowhere to go and a mind craving stimulation and a challenge, Sam read… and he met Cassandra.
Or:
In which Sam considers the events surrounding the Whiteley family's fate and the ways in which his words/input often go unheard, with a small twist(?). Inspired by my own lingering frustration on Sam's behalf as characters put words in his mouth or cut him off while he is voicing reasonable concerns. -

Summary
“Hm.” Mycroft let the sound rumble in his throat, appreciative of William’s efficiency in his explanation. “So you propose locum tenens.” He stated, rather than asked.
William smiled.
Locum tenens.
A latin phrase, meaning “to hold the place of, to substitute for.” Referring to one who temporarily takes the place of another. Most often used in reference to doctors or clergymen.
But not always.
Mirth shone in William’s eyes.
Or:
My own take on a story inspired by a Tumblr post by @user-needs-new-hyperfixation, specifically: “Mycroft/William set in between A Scandal in the British Empire and The Final Problem, in which they have a lot of technically very good but very miserable sex while pining over each other's brothers and picking apart each other's brains brutally.”In which Mycroft and William act as temporary stand-ins for their brothers, influenced heavily by my headcanon that Mycroft was able to deduce William’s real Moriarty Plan.

Summary
A boy sat in a room.
The room was empty.
The nameless boy sat in an empty room.
There was nothing in the room. Time did not exist. The room was frozen still.
The room was lonely.
The nameless boy sat in a lonely room of his heart.
Or:
An abstract piece focusing on repetition and metaphor resulting from my attempt at playing with an experimental writing style. Inspired by "In This Lonely Room," William's solo song in MoriMu Op. 3 where he lies down dramatically on the couch, but you don't have to be familiar with the musicals in any way to comprehend the story. -

Summary
Albert stilled.
He was too brilliant. Much too dazzling. He shined with such light, burning away the darkness that had surrounded that word—brother—for so long. Rescuing Albert from that corrupted blackness, changing it into something new and beautiful.
Just like he would change the world, make it anew.
Or:
Upon returning to Universal Exports with William and reuniting with Louis, Albert recalls the first time each of them referred to him as Brother—pivotal memories from his adolescence. -

Summary
"I've prepared a coffin for Mr. Moriarty." Billy said, respectful as ever to the unconscious Lord of Crime.
Sherlock's heart immediately jumped to his throat, beating wildly.
Or:
Inspired by a panel around page 23 of chapter 59 (in "The Adventure of the Empty Hearts"), where Billy and Sherlock depart from the ship and William is carried out behind them in a coffin.
