ImHereOutOfSpite

A drawing of someone with a dark green Mullet. They are wearing an orange sleeveless hoodie, and heart shaped choker, golden glasses, and sun and moon earings. The background is the gender queer flag. There is a text bubble that says yippee!

    Summary

“The author of the journals,” Stan said, finally standing up. "My brother."

The author of the journals, his brother, looked at the miniscule crowd that had arrived by accident to greet him. The author looked between them all, and Dipper could see reflection on his face from the light of the slowly dimming portal. The author’s gaze finally settled on Stan, and his posture stiffened.

“Dad?” The author of the journals, his brother, choked out. He sounded absolutely baffled.

Stan’s expression turned equally baffled, clearly not anticipating this. “What?”

    *** *** ***

The portal has opened, and spat out Stanford Filbrick Pines, exactly as he was when he left. Thirty years has passed for the outside world, but only a few hours have been lost for him.

It changes things. Especially with the worst memories of Ford's life still hot on his tail, and eager to make a reappearance.

The man hovering over him leaned back, releasing Grian completely. Cold night air rushed in to fill the void.

“I guess it’s out in the open now,” the stranger hummed. “Shame. I wanted to avoid this.”

With the additional glow occupying the space between them, Grian was finally able to catch features that were lost in the prior darkness. His curiosity outweighed all else, and he drank them in greedily. As soon as he saw who sat across from him, alarms blared in his mind.

    This man wasn’t a civilian, wasn’t even a hero.

“Hello, Doctor,” the villain mused. “You were quite the help today.”

    Summary

In a town where time is cyclical, shadows dance, radios speak, a house (not sane) stands, and the torment never ever ends. The ghosts you see have always been here, and have always lived in this house. The pain you feel will extended and distended like the belly of a snake that swallows it's own tail. The fear you try to tamp into little glass jars in your heart will shatter under the weight of your regrets, and spill out upon these wooden floors as though you have been disemboweled.

Also known as the Mystery Shack. No refunds, by the way.

(Or; the Shack is haunted. And it's not haunted by a ghost)

    Summary

Stanley Pines is the last person to label himself as the guy to save the world. Especially because the world is so fucked at this point, no one can do it. He stopped believing it possible about half an hour after he witnessed a giant yellow triangle take a bite out of the planet— yeah, he has no idea either, thanks.

He plans for the maybe-week the world has left to stick to feasible goals, like “eat one last meal,” and “don’t die until you get to do it yourself.” But just as the second of those is about to fall through, he’s grabbed by a man with a weird tape measure, whisked off to another time, and told that none of this is supposed to have happened. And that they’re apparently trusting the fate of the world to… him?

They insist that he’s the guy for the job, apparently based on exactly how the triangle got the chance to end the world in the first place. It was, according to them, one idiotic schmuck who let himself get conned. They just need Stan to kill the guy before that happens.

And, sure. It’s not like Stan’s life could get any more insane than it already has. Who do they need him to kill exactly?

…Who do they need him to kill, exactly?
