“Oh my god,” he mutters, heart racing. He chucks his teleslate on his bed and flops back down.

Summary
Venturing into the desert after runaway thesis students is, unfortunately, a normal part of Cyno's job. The same can't be said of Alhaitham, feeble scholar extraordinare, and yet he's here anyway. It's an addition Cyno doesn't need, no matter how helpful Alhaitham can be, but though the company's better than expected, the complications only get worse from there.

Summary
Alhaitham agrees to an illegal expedition out of pure curiosity. However, the last thing he expects to find inside an unexplored tomb is a living mummy. Or rather, not a mummy at all, but a troublesome young man straight from a bygone era. And Cyno... he asks not to be referred to as a mummy, and hopes to end an ancient cult’s hunt for him as soon as possible.
