Dusk, the darker stage of twilight.
Autumn liked dusk. It was peaceful, it felt as though the world was beginning to put itself to rest.
It had been a long day. The four seasons namely: Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter — had spent the whole day discussing their plans for the change of seasons.
It was tiring and boring to be a season, yet it was interesting and full of wonder.

Summary
Dazai had thought once that he was a curse upon the people he loved. That he would bring misfortune upon them. That if he dared care for someone he would lose them and they would suffer.
The detective agency had changed all that. Taught him to sheath his blade, to care, and protect. Showed him a world of light, where he could try to protect the ones he loved, and be gentle in a way he'd never known.
But now he's frozen in front of Atsushi, and all he can think about is how one touch would kill the boy he's sworn three times over to protect, and he can't help but think that if he was kind enough to comfort him, he would stop his heart immediately.
No Longer Human has never been a kind ability. Dazai realises how cruel it can be.

Summary
Fyodor gets the book and abilities have left the stage, but their users still remain. The ADA is left to pick up the pieces. Dazai has been released from prison, and some agency members are doing better than others.
Kunikida isn't doing well at all.
-This is a spin off of Angel Collective, and while it takes place in the same universe and has an overlapping timeline, reading that work isn't necessary to read this one. If you are coming from that fic though please mind the rating and tags on this one, as it is extremely different in both content and tone in comparison

What matters is that Kazuma is here, breathing. That Ryunosuke has the chance to appreciate him properly. That Ryunosuke is allowed to touch.
It seems wrong. All backwards. You don't touch anything especially precious, fragile, because you know the risk, that it might shatter under your fingers, that you may stain it beyond recognition. And you certainly don't position yourself above it in some display of inflated self-importance.
But this is how Kazuma pulled them down onto the futon; he presses their bodies together until the skin turns ghostly white. So this is how Kazuma wants it, and who is Ryunosuke to question him?
