Following the fragments of a dream, Willow seeks forgiveness from Osiris, worried that her transgressions against the god may have compromised Tara's place in the afterworld. Osiris is humored by her humility and her power, and offers her a chance to descend to the underworld to meet with Anubis, who will weight her soul against a single ostrich feather. Hearts heavier or lighter than the feather of Ma'at are rejected and eaten by Ammit, the Devourer of Souls. If at the end of Willow's journey her soul fails, her life will be forfeit, and her spirit will be scattered across eternity. If she is judged worthy, she has a chance of being reunited with Tara.

Touch was such a foreign concept to her after spending so much of her life without it. It was something she actively avoided. But now, she craves it. Craves it like an aching thirst after a long hunt, a desert begging for rain. There's a phrase she's heard before that she never understood, not untill she met Seyka.

There's a Stormbird cloud seeding in the space between them. A cumulonimbus climbing high into the atmosphere where the air is thin and full of potential. She thought after they had... consummated their relationship that the tension would wind down. Oh how wrong she was. Wrong, wrong, wrong. A line was crossed and all bets were off, they had given each other permission to do as they pleased, to touch in ways she never thought she wanted.
