He was standing there, looking completely frazzled, his suit a dirty mess, and his eyes wide. The mark from the kryptonite was sitting brightly on his neck, a light red compared to the pale skin around it. He was slumped against the desk, practically sitting on it, as his restrained hands gripped the edge. But the most notable thing was sitting lower, sticking out like a sore thumb.
