“I tried to date one boy,” Nubsib said, cutting him off, “when I was fifteen. It seemed like the right thing to do, and at the right time, but it never felt right. We ended up breaking up after three weeks because I saw a picture of you on Facebook. You looked so cute, Gene—it was from your freshman orientation. I saved over a hundred pictures of you that day.”
Gene froze, his mouth falling open.
