Summary
In a twisted universe, Quinn and Wayne Kirsch never made it to New York City. Instead two other characters take the mantle of Ghostface with Ethan in order to make their mark on the franchise. As Tara, Ethan and Anika believe they are doing the right thing by killing anyone involved with the Ghostfaces of the previous attacks. They slowly fall victim to the mentality that they are so desperate to get rid off.
In simplest terms, my version of Scream VI where instead of the Kirsch family, the killers are Ethan, Tara and Anika and we get to see everything from their perspective.

Summary
At first, there was no malintent, it was simply self defence. Amber killed a man to protect her best friend. Later, though, they were pushed into a corner, and the murder became premeditated. Then, Amber wanted to kill someone who had wronged her, so Tara helped. When Amber wanted to make a movie, there was only one logical next step.
AKA The Tamber story that starts really cute but devolves into insane girlfriends murdering people. Every chapter until the start of the 5th movie is two or three years apart, so we get to see their relationship grow as they do, Enjoy!
I try to update weekly on wednesdays, each chap ~5k words. Will go until Scream 6.

“Because you’re you? And you told me, point blank, that you’d rather watch 'Shrek the Third' ten times in a row than watch one of my, quote unquote, misogynistic disgraces to the horror genre?”
“I didn’t…!” Tara trailed off because actually, yeah, she kinda remembered saying that, “…I was clearly exaggerating.”

“Who— who are you?” Tiffany asks, voice shaking. Tears run down her face, streaking her mascara, though Jamie supposes she can’t really blame the girl — she was almost stabbed only minutes ago.
“I’m Jamie,” she answers. “It’s okay, you’re safe—” Right when she touches Tiffany’s arm, her own begins to tingle and, when she wrenches her jacket sleeve up, she stares down, wide eyed, as Tiffany Clark appears in swooping letters on her skin.
Holy shit.

OR,Jamie has always been jealous of the name on her own family’s arms — this stranger with her name who was apparently her family’s soul child. She grew up surrounded by stories of this weird Canadian exchange student who had saved their lives while Jamie herself shared no names with any of her family.
But everything is answered when she accidentally time travels back in time.

“But you’re in danger!” Jamie protests, hating that her voice seems to squeak slightly.
“Kid, where’s your mom?” Pam ironically asks, a small furrow in her brows. “Are you lost?”
“Aw, she’s adorable,” Marisa coos, crouching down and pinching Jamie’s cheek gently. “Can’t we just keep her, Pam?”
“That’s not how that works,” Heather answers, exasperated.
Jamie wants to scream. Nobody is listening to her!

OR,Jamie thought her day couldn’t get any worse when she finds herself in 1987. That is until she realizes, not only has she time traveled, but she’s turned back into her ten-year-old self. Now, nobody is taking her seriously and there’s a killer on the loose. Just her luck.
Meanwhile, the Mollys have questions. Who is this small child following them around, and how does one adopt said child when you’re not even of legal age?
