Carlos Sainz Jr. will join Ferrari for the 2021 season
The headline was shining from Lando's phone, almost blinding him. Carlos Sainz is moving to Ferrari, replacing Sebastian Vettel. Lando didn't even notice the tear running down his face until it landed on the screen, blurrying out the letters. He leaned against the wall, his head resting against the window.
From an outsider's point of view, you may have thought that tear represented sadness, sadness resulting from the loss of a good friend, a good teammate. You couldn't be further from the truth. That tear - that single, heavy tear represented relief. It would finally be over.

“I’m difficult,” Max repeats. Sebastian strokes the back of his head, running his hand through his messy, ash-blond hair.
“Do you think I was easy? Being a teenager is tough—you go through so many changes. It’s a hard time.”
“But you’re such a good dad—it’s unfair.” Seb’s heart aches as he feels Max’s warm tears soaking into his shirt. He keeps stroking Max’s hair.
“Oh but, Liebling!” He slowly rocks his son back and forth. “It’s not unfair at all! I love being a dad. I love being your dad! Sure, being a father is hard sometimes, but I’m living life for the first time too, just like you are. We’re figuring it all out together.”
It seems like Max nods, but maybe it’s just because he’s started sobbing even harder.or, Life has been hard on Max and Charles, but now they have each other, maybe things will become better?
