New York was a loud city.
Always was and always would be. Even if a nuke was dropped on the city, the cockroaches would still make noise, and so would the crumbling rocks and the roaring fires that came of it.
Even in the smallest of corners it was noisy, where a small group happened to be. Sitting at a roadside vendor on their own stools looking into a kitchen area.
”I’ll give you five bucks if you can eat the extra spicy ramen.” Raph waved the bill in Mikey’s face as their two friends laughed beside them, “Make it ten!” Mikey immediately shouted as a competitive look came across his face. Raph smirked and nodded, “You’ve got a deal!”

Summary
The arms burst into action around them and Leo barely moves out of the way of a glowing appendage. The appendage reacts quickly and pivots back for him and it takes everything for Leo not to be caught. A grunt reaches his ears and Leo turns just in time to see Raph grabbed around the neck and pulled roughly to the floor. Two more appendages emerge and wrap tightly around Raph’s wrist, effectively pinning him to the ground.
Leo ducks under another restraint. “RAPH!”
“I’m ok!” he shouts, “Just stay with Mikey!”
