Summary
A novelization of The Arcana's storyline with Muriel as its central character rather than the player/apprentice.
Its essential goal is to bring love and attention to what Muriel is rather than what he isn't, and to match the pace at which he lives (rather than steamroll his personality or trauma to make room for a faster more romantic plot.) In this house we savor the large lad.
This version of The Arcana is slower, less dramatic in scope, and has done its best to leave the major events and decisions whole while underpinning them with a richer and more nuanced web of motives and characterizations.

We are going off the deep end with this one. I’m taking Muriel’s route, Lucio, primarily because of all the Lucios. This is where we see him have a semblance of a plan, and it is also the most unforgivable version. Do you want a proper villain romance, or do you want Lucio?
