Summary
Roy thought he’d be ready for anything he’d find, but nothing had prepared him for what he actually saw.
Jamie was trapped between two men. His body had been bent over the sink without any kind of courtesy and the guy at his back had him completely pinned. His arms were wrenched at his back, where a firm grip was holding him in place. And the guy, the guy was about to... God, Roy was gonna be sick.
“Get the fuck away from him!”
Or: in which Jamie is sexually assaulted at a pub, Roy finds the abusers in the act and, along with Isaac, stops them right in time. But, between the pain and confussion, the spiral he's just going through and the memories from a time he'd rather forget, Jamie can't separate the angry man who just saved him from the one who'd once put him there. Roy has to deal with the fact that Jamie can't stand his presence and with the shame that being compared to James Tartt Sr. brings to his heart.

Jamie had tried to make everyone believe he was lying when he'd said he's hurt. And now he was standing in the middle of the room with his shirt rolled up, the most nasty, ugly bruises staining his skin. But what Ted couldn't come to understand was what could’ve happened to the player for him to feel the urge to hide it so fiercely.
In which Jamie is seriously injured in Two Aces, Ted can't wrap his mind around the idea of someone hurting his own son so badly, and also some relationships develope earlier than they were intended.

Isaac and Colin lock Jamie in a storage room at Nelson Road as part of a "harmless" joke. This brings Jamie a lot of bad memories back he'd rather forget and leads him to a panic attack. He also dislocates his shoulder trying to get out. Ted, Sam and Dani are there to comfort him in the aftermath.
Set after Jamie comes back to Richmond on season 2.

And, after the initial shock and before he could even think of what he was doing, he took it to his face and secured it behind his head. The thing was constricting as hell, but that wasn't the worse part. The worse part was that Bucky had seen him. And he was more than angry.

Summary
When Colin and Isaac are messing with Jamie, they play a voicemail left on his phone, thinking it’s from some girl. In reality, however, it is a voicemail Jamie’s dad left for him. Jamie flees the scene before anyone can intervene, but when Roy finds a bruised striker in the locker room the next day, he’s not going to let it pass him by. He’ll take care of Jamie, even if he has to force the prick.

“I don’t want to see him again,” he says, hoping that leading with the part he knows Ted probably won’t have an issue with might make the next bit less difficult, “and I know you didn’t say that I should, but I also don’t… I tried, and I don’t want to forgive him neither. And that one you did say I should do, and I know you said it was for me and not for him, but it still feels like- like saying nothing he did mattered."
Jamie takes Ted's advice to heart - he forgives. Or he tries to. But it doesn't make things better. It doesn't free him from anything, and the text he sent his father makes everything so much worse, even though it hasn't been answered yet. When Jamie reaches his breaking point, he goes through a series of three conversations, seeking help determining whether something is wrong with him, whether it's okay to not forgive, and whether it's okay to decide that he's done trying.
