    Summary

Odysseus slammed the only survivor against the wall, his sword pressed firmly enough against the guard’s trembling throat that blood spilled, black and reflective as it soaked under his armour.

Which ones?” he snarled, low and feral, as monstrous as he had ever sounded. The guard only stared back, wild-eyed and silent. “You said your king stole Greek heirs. Which fucking ones?

Barely even a gurgle in response, choked and incredulous. “How the fuck would I know, you think I keep a list of all the whores in this palace?” Something purely dangerous must have shown in his expression, the violent wall behind which he hid a terror so suffocating it would consume him alive, as the guard continued, as frantic as prey in a predator’s jaws.

“I- the Ithacan, I know, but the others-”

He didn’t feel the force in the shock of lighting that shot through him, only the scrape of his blade along the wall and the hollow thud of a skull falling to the stone below.

    Telemachus.

    Summary

Aphrodite had foreseen Paris' triumph – her triumph, in truth. The moment his eyes would fall upon Helen of Sparta, he would understand: this was the reward for his devotion, this was the woman the gods themselves had deemed worthy of a prince so favoured.

She had not foreseen his rejection.

Had not expected him to turn away from the prize she had laid before him, to spurn the very woman he had once coveted with all his heart.

Nor had she anticipated that his desire would stray – not to another queen, most certainly not to Helen’s own cousin.

    Penelope of Sparta.

(Or, after coming across a portrait of Penelope during his time in Sparta, Paris of Troy switches his kidnapping victim from Helen to Penelope. This proves far more detrimental than anyone could have imagined - a spark burning so bright that even the Gods on Olympus are caught in its flames.)

    Summary

For the first time in her life, Penelope doesn't know what to feel.

Time has been lost to her since her husband returned back to Ithaca. Despite having him in her arms again, she spends almost every second fearing he will slip away again, disappearing right between her fingers into the air, never to be seen again. Each morning, she thanks the fates that he is there with her when she awakes. Each night she whispers a prayer thanking the Gods for allowing him to come back to her at last.

    or;

Penelope struggles with a lot of things upon her husband's return. They all do, as a family.

Basically an expansion to Xénos, centered around Penelope.

    Summary

It was not as the Fates intended.

There was to be a marriage bed, a son, and twenty years of waiting. But King Icarius denies Odysseus his daughter’s hand, and the thread begins to fray. Penelope of Sparta—clever, quiet, and promised to no man—is swept from her home on a tide of stolen love and war.

Now a stranger in Troy, Penelope is caught between warring gods, mortal ambition, and a war never meant to be hers. As alliances crumble and empires burn, one woman’s defiance may alter the course of fate itself.
