**This fic is on indefinite hiatus**
As the weeks continue to pass and Keladry of Mindelan remains without a knight to serve under, she spends her time training and continuing to tutor the younger pages. Now that she's a squire, and without a knight-master, she has far more free time, and is able to spend plenty of it on assisting the pages in weapons and classwork.
After seeing notable improvements in the performance of the pages Kel is working with, Wyldon of Cavall recognizes that he may have, once again, misjudged her. He knows that Raoul of Goldenlake had asked King Jonathan for permission to take Kel as a squire-- permission which had not been granted. Raoul's first duty was to the King's Own, and he had neither need for a squire nor time to train one properly. Wyldon had expected another knight to request Kel as a squire, but as time passes with no word, a different solution comes to mind.

Summary

Summary
