Summary
It’s a cruel twist of fate that the same day Jayce finally plucks up the courage to ask the apothecary’s apprentice to the Kiramman’s Solstice Ball should also be the day his life goes to Hell.
-
After an explosion in his workshop results in the death of a young woman, the Council sentences Jayce to execution by hanging. He's resigned to his fate, willing to pay the ultimate price for his foolish dreams of bettering the world through a magic beyond his comprehension or control.
That is until a mysterious envelope arrives at Caitlyn's door, marked with the apothecary's seal. The envelope contains a page from the apothecary's inventory log listing dozens of entries, including the ingredients for Living Death, purchased the day of the explosion. Four gold coins are also included, all bearing the mark of the dreaded Eye of Zaun, captained by the ruthless pirate Silco. The third and final item is the most curious of all: a single violet, looking worse for wear, but very much still alive.
Caitlyn’s unshakeable belief in his innocence makes him brave. The potential of the apprentice’s affections makes him foolish.
They set sail for Zaun in the dead of night, headed straight for The Eye.

Summary
“You’re not gonna believe this,” Ekko says, slightly out of breath. “So I’m hustling Talis down at the forge, right? And I’m giving him the works.”
He ticks off ‘the works’ on his fingers as he elaborates, “I complimented his work, I name dropped Councilor Medarda, I went on and on about how much her investment really means to us, since you know their families are like this,” he crosses two fingers together tightly.
An effective visual, surely, had Viktor actually been looking.
“Then, I mentioned our project scaling up and he hooked it up for free.”
That, finally, gets Viktor’s full attention. He spins around on his stool, flipping his goggles onto his forehead. The heavy thud of Ekko’s haul is enough to imply just how big of a ‘hook up’ this was.
“What exactly did you say to him?”

Summary
There’s not a person who walks the halls of Hogwarts who doesn’t know Steve Rogers: the boy with the righteous streak, hot temper, and massive crush on the Romanian Longhorns’ star Chaser, Bucky Barnes. But Bucky exists to Steve only on the front page of The Daily Prophet. He has long since resigned himself to admiring from afar, catching games when he can or otherwise following Barnes’s crusade against injustice through printed page.
Until the man himself walks into the Great Hall on the first night of their Seventh Year.
Bucky’s life outside of the spotlight is hardly worthy of a footnote, never mind a headline, but no one wants to read about Bucky Barnes being found face-down and fast asleep between the shelves of Durmstrang’s impressive library. Between his studies and the Quidditch Finals looming around the corner, the last thing Bucky needs is something like the Tri-Wizard Tournament. He knows Headmaster Pierce is expecting him to volunteer, but all Bucky really wants is to pass his N.E.W.T.S. and maybe twist The Minister’s arm into passing the bill about guaranteed pay for House Elves.
That is until he spots Merlin’s gift to man sitting at the Gryffindor table.
Then things get complicated.

Summary
It’s a Rogers family tradition, as his mother loves to remind him: Take your love to Ireland, propose to them in the motherland on the day of the Leap Year, and live happily ever after. His father had done it, his father before him, and his father before him. Steve had been hoping to be the end of the line, but if Tony’s going to string him and their four year relationship along, fine. He’ll take matters into his own hands.
He’s getting engaged if it kills him, he's just got to survive a trip to Dublin in the company of James Barnes first.
