But a few rows behind them, Steve’s eyes are caught by someone else. Someone who’s not clapping or booing, though the beautiful people around him are applauding.
This Someone is tall and big — maybe as big as Steve — and clothed discreetly though expensively in the latest Prada. His long hair flows to his shoulders and his big blue-grey eyes bore intently into Steve’s face. When he sees Steve looking at him, his beautiful, full lips curl up in the merest semblance of a smile, and little crinkles appear in the corner of his eyes.
A tiny twinge blossoms under Steve’s ribcage.

“Put the hand back in the grave, Stiles.”Six months have passed since the werewolf was let out of the proverbial bag — six awesome, ghost-summoning, criminal-catching, snark-and-sex-filled months — and Derek and Stiles are almost ready for the next step in their relationship: Meeting the family. Not like, too ready, though. Stiles isn’t trying to rush anything. Or like, think about that at all. He’d much rather focus on anything else, actually.
At least the current case will keep them otherwise occupied. They’ve got hot leads to follow, a trail of ashes to trace, and secrets that might send the balance of the BAU up in smoke.

“I need you to make sure I can be alone with the body for a few minutes.”
Derek stares at him. “You get that that’s like…a really weird request, right?”
In the three months since Derek left the NYPD and joined the FBI’s Behavioral Analysis Unit, he’s gotten used to a lot of things: he’s learned to deal with seeing Peter every day, he knows how to hide his enhanced senses on the job, and he doesn’t mind the late nights and early mornings.
One thing he’s still not used to, however, is Stiles Stilinski.
