Greg delivered the word flatly and Alex raised both eyebrows, not bothering to fully hide his smile any longer. “No?” he repeated, amused.
Amusement that Greg didn’t share, not even looking over at him as he shook his head and scribbled something on his cards. “No, I won’t have it.”
“Oh.” The gallery made some comment in their earpieces encouraging them to move on, especially given how frequently the banter sections ended up getting cut for time, but both Greg and Alex were practically experts at ignoring the gallery, especially when it was a bit that one or both of them wanted to tease out as long as possible.
