There’s something about this fic that itches every part of my brain. One of very few longer fics that I felt was truly complete. Could absolutely read more, but everything was tied up in such a perfect bow, I don’t feel like I need to. My favorite type of fic and this author managed to hit every single weakness I have. 1000000/10

    Summary

The day that Prince Steven Harrington turns twenty is the first sunny spring day after a seemingly endless spell of heavy rain that left the castle grounds drowning in mud and its inhabitants freezing and miserable in the inescapable dampness of everything.

But that is not why he will remember it so vividly for the rest of his life.

It is also the day that his father, King Richard, chooses to ride off into war with great fanfare, to strengthen the glory of Hawkins and expand its wealth and territory.

But this also isn’t why the day will be forever ingrained in his memory.

No, the actual reason Steve knows that he will not forget his twentieth birthday until the moment his heart stops beating and his eyes close forever is an entirely different one.

It is the day he finds the dragon.

The dragon fic of all time. One of the Steddie fics that got me here. A classic in the fandom as far as I’m concerned.

Robin asks Steve to pass on a little of his knowledge. Because if someone's going to teach her how to eat a girl out, it's going to be her best friend.

“Well I don’t know!” Steve throws his hands up. “What do you want me to do, show you for real?!”

    Robin considers...

    “Wait would you?” she asks.

“Would I what?” Steve looks confused

    “Show me for real?"

When someone says “platonic stobin would never-“ I just want people to know that they would. They absolutely would. And this is the perfect story to prove it. There is something so fucking real about this, especially for them.

Eddie Munson had seen some shit in his twenty-six years. You'd think it would've been the inter-dimensional aliens and bats from hell that would make it to the top of his Surprising Things I've Experienced board, but the hell beasts have seemingly taken spot two. He is ninety-nine percent sure he is looking at a ghost he hasn't seen since 1986.

    Summary

Eddie Munson died on March 27th, 1986.

This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

No, wait. That’s not right. That’s Hitchhiker's Guide. Or was it Restaurant at the End of the Universe? Whatever, not important.

Eddie Munson died on March 27th, 1986.

Except…he didn’t. He couldn’t have. Because Eddie Munson is currently arguing with himself in his fucking head about sci-fi quotes, which doesn’t feel especially like something that a dead person would have the capacity to do.

The bats had killed him. There had been pain, and the sick sensation of tearing flesh. He’d had to swallow past a mouthful of his own blood to tell Henderson he loved him. Surely those were symptoms of imminent death.

    And yet.

On April 1st, 1986, Eddie Munson opens his eyes in a dim hospital room. There’s a gasp from his left, and he tries to turn his head towards the source.

“Easy there, kid. They’ve got you trussed up pretty good.”

Eddie doesn’t need to see him. He’d know that voice anywhere, in any universe, hell dimension or otherwise.

    “Uncle Wayne?”
