Summary
Liam doesn’t think he hit his head on the way down, but the details leading up to their current predicament are a little hazy. He knows four things for sure.
1.) Theo had refused to explain what he was doing here when Liam asked, and had gone so far as to laugh when Liam suggested he was reverting back to his stalker-ish ways.
2.) Liam may have thrown the initial punch in their impromptu fistfight, but it was Theo who tackled him to the floor after both their noses got bloodied up.
3.) Theo had also been the one to connect their mouths.
4.) Theo isn’t wearing a shirt. Or shoes.
It’s all very confusing.
(alternatively: 16k words of liam having a crisis about why theo keeps kissing him and why he keeps kissing him back)

Summary
“I can smell your stress stinking up my truck,” Theo murmurs, which Liam knows is his roundabout way of trying to tell Liam to relax. It’s a credit to how much progress he’s made with being emotional that he’s able to relay that message out loud. “Look, you don’t have to tell him this weekend if that’ll help you calm down. I’m not expecting you to make some big scene about us dating to everyone we know.”
Liam doesn’t need to listen for Theo’s heartbeat to know he’s telling the truth, but as much as he appreciates that— “Scott isn’t just someone we know,” he says, ducking down his head to stare first at his knees and then flick his eyes over in Theo’s direction in the driver’s seat, unable to lift his eyes any higher than where Theo’s pool ball keychain is swaying from the ring.

Summary
“Forget some dumb carnie prize.” Bucky grins and gives Steve a squeeze that’s so strong it has the smaller man protesting with the surprised sound that breaks free. “I’ll be your teddy bear. Every night.”
“You are big, strong, and hairy. Teeth aren’t quite as sharp, though.”
(in which steve holds a grudge about bucky winning someone else a teddy bear for way too long)
