Chapter Text

Title: The Goddess of Death or An Apocalyptic Plague

Plot:

  • This alternate universe is exactly the same as the one from "MHA x Marvel #1" except for a couple significant differences:
    • 1) This alternate universe takes place in an amalgamation of the MHA Universe and the MCU.
      • As opposed to "MHA x Marvel #1", which takes place in an amalgamation of the MHA Universe and the more general Marvel Universe with some elements of the MCU.
    • 2) Hela plays a significant role.
  • Just like in "Thor: Ragnarok":
    • Hela was freed from Hel immediately after Odin's death.
    • She shattered Mjolnir.
    • She followed Thor and Loki (and Izuku) through the Bifrost.
    • She knocked Thor and Loki (and Izuku) out of the Bifrost, causing them to end up on Sakaar.
      • Thor and Izuku were knocked out of the Bifrost at the same time, so they landed on Sakaar at the same time.
  • Soon after landing on Sakaar, Izuku and Thor encountered Valkyrie, who placed Obedience Disks on their necks.
  • However, Izuku ripped off his Obedience Disk, along with a good chunk of his neck.
    • Fortunately, because of his healing factor, this wound healed up quickly.
  • Izuku then attacked Valkyrie, took her remote control by force, and freed Thor of his Obedience Disk.
  • Izuku then forced Valkyrie at swordpoint to take him and Thor to civilization where they planned to search for Loki.
    • On the trip over to Sakaar City, they informed Valkyrie of Hela's invasion of Asgard.
  • Upon finding Loki, Izuku attempted to use his sword to summon the Bifrost to take them all to Asgard to confront Hela.
  • However, Valkyrie stopped him before he could for two reasons:
    • 1) She wanted to go to Asgard too so she could stab Hela in the heart.
    • 2) They would need more muscle if they were going to fight Hela. This then resulted in Valkyrie introducing them to her friend, the Grandmaster's champion, Hulk.
  • With a team consisting of Izuku, Thor, Loki, Valkyrie, and Hulk now assembled, Izuku uses his sword to summon the Bifrost and instantly transport them all to Asgard.
  • Upon arriving to Asgard, they quickly realize that they are too late to save Asgard.
    • The reason for this being that, the moment they arrived, they were surrounded by zombified Asgardians.
  • Hela cockily approaches them atop Fenris and rhetorically asks them if they like what she did with the place.
  • Thor angrily demands to know what she's done.
  • In response, Hela reveals that she had done what she had attempted to do thousands of years ago:
    • She unleashed a plague of her own creation upon Asgard.
    • A plague that she had created using her own blood and the darkest of magics.
    • A plague that would allow her to inthrall anyone infected with her necromancy.
    • A plague that turned anyone infected into a zombie (a.k.a. a draugr by Hela).
  • It is revealed that thousands of years ago, before Hela's banishment to Hel, that she had created a mystic zombie virus to serve as her secret weapon to aid her in her ambition to conquer the cosmos.
  • It is also revealed that Hela's creation of this virus that had been the reason why Odin had banished her to Hel.
    • Hela had created the virus prior to her banishment and Odin had locked it away in a secret area of his vault after her banishment.
  • Hela then unleashed all the undead Asgardians on them.
  • Realizing that Hel was too powerful and that Asgard was unsalvageable, Izuku made the decision to actualize Ragnarök in the hopes of defeating her.
  • Slipping away from the fight while Hela was distracted with the others, Izuku entered Odin's Vault and placed Surtur's crown in the Eternal Flame.
  • Immediately afterwords, Izuku retreated from the vault and reunited with the others.
  • Upon reuniting with the others, Izuku was crestfallen to learn that Loki and Valkyrie had been turned into zombies.
    • Also, he informed Thor that he had been unable to find the Tesseract within Odin's Vault.
  • To Hela's horror and anger, a newly resurrected and gigantic-sized Surtur began destroying Asgard.
  • Though, Hela's anger left as quickly as it came when she revealed that she was in possession of the Tesseract and further revealed that she planned to use it to spread her undead army across the entire universe.
  • Upon realizing that Hela had the Tesseract, Izuku attacked her trying to take it from her.
  • Unfortunately, Izuku was unable to take it from her; though, he was able to absorb some of the Tesseract's cosmic energies.
  • After throwing Izuku off of her, Hela used the Tesseract to transport her army and herself to one of the other Nine Realms.
  • Realizing that they needed help and that they needed to get off of Asgard quickly before they got killed by Surtur, Izuku used his sword to transport Hulk, Thor, and himself to Nidavellir.
  • Upon arriving to Niavellir, Izuku and Thor quickly informed Eitri and the other dwarves of Hela and her zombie plague.
    • This is all happening in late 2017.
    • Thanos didn't attack Nidavellir until May 2018.
  • Realizing the threat Hela posed to them, Eitri and the rest of the dwarves quickly agreed to help them in any way they needed.
  • Thor had them forge Stormbreaker for him so he could better fight Hela.
  • Izuku, anticipating the worst case scenario, decided to have the dwarves forge something special that would take several days to create.
  • With Stormbreaker complete and not wanting to wait around any longer, Thor had Izuku use his sword to summon the Bifrost to transport both him and Hulk to Earth in preparation for Hela's arrival.
  • Now alone with the dwarves, Izuku worked with one group of dwarves to use a combination of magic, Odinforce, and comic energy absorbed from the Tesseract to create a special glowing white gemstone containing an entire pocket dimension within itself.
    • This gemstone was named: the Gem of Heven.
    • The pocket dimension was named: Heven.
  • At the same time, another group of dwarves worked with Eitri to create a circlet made of pure uru to house the Gem of Heven, forming the Crown of Heven.
  • The Crown of Heven was something Izuku envisioned as being the perfect tool that would allow him to keep people safe and not have to worry about protecting them while he fought Hela.
  • The Crown of Heven allows Izuku to transport people into Heven, where they would be safe away from Hela's grasp.
    • Also, the crown grants Izuku total control over all time, space, and matter within Heven.
    • It also grants Izuku omniscience knowledge regarding anything and everything that transpires within Heven.
    • It also granted Izuku the ability to selectively choose who he wanted to keep in Heven and who he wanted to expel from Heven.
    • It also granted Izuku the ability to create replicas of entire worlds, like of Earth and Nidavellir.
  • Once the Crown of Heven was completed, Izuku's first act was to transport all of the dwarves of Nidavellir into Heven.
  • Then, his second act was to use his sword to summon the Bifrost and transport himself to Earth.
  • Upon arriving to Earth, Izuku learned that Hela had already arrived and had already infected all of Eurasia, save for the islands like Japan.
    • The reason why Eurasia is because the starting point on which she arrived on Earth was Norway.
  • Despite this, Hela had already begun invading Japan.
  • After learning all this, Izuku quickly flew to Japan and transported as many people as he could into Heven.
    • Momo, her parents, and Class 1-A being the first.
  • Izuku then travels to America to join Thor, Hulk, and the other Avengers in battling against Hela.
  • 5 years later:
    • All the Avengers save for Hulk and Black Panther have turned into zombies.
    • Izuku manages to save 1/3rd of the people of America, Canada, Mexico, Wakanda, and South America from Hela's plague by transporting them into Heven.
    • Izuku is now in possession of Stormbreaker.
    • Izuku and the other survivors have taken up refuge in Kamar-Taj
      • Survivors: Izuku (Vidar), Hulk, Spiderman, Winter Soldier, Black Panther, Ms. Marvel, Yelena, Sentry, the Eternals, and the Masters of the Mystic Arts.
  • I imagine this would end with Izuku transporting the last of the survivors to Heven while he remained to battle against Hela and her zombie army on a barren, destroyed world as the last living thing on Earth for an eternity.
    • Or at least until Hela dies of old age... in around a few thousand years.

Extra Details:

  • Izuku is one of the few being in the entire universe immune to Hela's zombie plague.
    • Hulk, the Eternals, and I would imagine the Celestials are immune.
  • Hela refers to zombies as draugrs.
  • Because Groot was not present during Stormbreaker's creation, it has a normal metal handle and not a wooden handle.
  • Hela was weakened from Asgard's destruction.
    • However, this is inconsequential since Hela's strength increases for ever victim her zombie plague claims.
  • Ironically, being the god of vengeance, Izuku's strength also increases for every victim Hela's plague claims.
  • Because Asgard was destroyed, Hela lost her immortality (not to be confused with her Asgardian longevity).
  • Upon using the Tesseract to escape Asgard's destruction, Hela made her way through the Nine Realms realm-by-realm.
    • She started with Jotunheim, then Svartalfheim, then Alfheim, then Vanaheim, then Midgard (Earth).
    • She would have gone to Nidavellir too, but Izuku had already transported all the dwarves into the Crown of Heven before she could.
  • The reason why forging the Crown of Heven took so long was because:
    • 1) Creating the Gem of Heven proved to be extremely difficult.
    • 2) Izuku and the dwarves spent a great deal of time fortifying the Crown of Heven with dozens of powerful enchantments.
      • One enchantment protected the it from ever being worn by anyone other than Izuku.
      • Another enchantment made it impossible for Hela to touch it.
      • Another enchantment made it impossible to access Heven utilizing any means other than the crown itself, meaning that the Bifrost and Space Stone could not be used to access Heven.
      • Another enchantment made it impossible for it to be removed from Izuku's head except by Izuku himself.
      • Another enchantment made it impossible for anyone infected with Hela's plague to enter Heven, even if Izuku wanted them in Heven.
      • Another enchantment made it impossible for evil people to enter Heven, even if Izuku wanted them in Heven.
        • Anyone who becomes evil for whatever reason is immediately expelled from Heven and into the real world.
  • I imagine that, at some point, Hela would say to Izuku, "It's a burden, isn't it? The crown. Let me ease your pain."
    • This is an obvious reference to what the Red Queen says to Infinity Hulk.
  • I imagine that at some point, Izuku would mock Hela saying, "Haha. Your threats are as meaningless as your title. All hail Hela, goddess of nothing."
