In Hell’s Kitchen’s quiet alley, blind herbalist Matt Murdock clashes with marine-turned-into-furniture-restorer Frank Castle. Matt’s senses are irritated by Frank’s late-night work, while Frank thinks Matt’s herbal stuff is just hippie nonsense, probably a scam. When Matt figures out Frank’s PTSD and nightmare are what keeping him awake, he offers therapy sessions to help them both catch a break. Things might just heat up from there.

Matt can't help but be drawn to him, but it's against school policy to date coworkers, but Frank has never cared much for rules. Matt confides in his best friend Foggy about everything while Ben Pointdexter threatens to unravel their secret romance. Matt learns Frank is a package deal and he's uncertain, but the connection that forms between them is raw and surreal. Tags are subject to change with added chapters. The kid was about the same age as Lisa. Christ, he looked so much like her. His hair was closer to red rather than Lisa’s chocolatey-brown and his eyes were covered by thick, dark glasses so Frank couldn’t see their colour. But he had the long, gangly legs, the innocent, round face, the awkward air of a kid who was growing up and trying to figure out how to be an adult.

He thinks that there is nothing that can stop him from following through, but a chance meeting with a thirteen year old boy who understands more than any kid should might be the thing to change her mind.
