Eret had always been disliked by the town full of zealots. She couldn't fight, couldn't hunt, and couldn't tend to animals or farm land either. She wasn't worth their resources or their time. She was the prime target for being chosen for the sacrificial rituals. She had hoped that worming her way into the Temple, the source of all religious practices in the town, would save her from the cruel fate. Unfortunately, she could not run from her fate for long.
Not without the help of a god.

All Ponk knows about Las Nevadas is that they were apparently getting false earthquakes reading from the place, more than a few of the people they’ve sent on trips there haven’t come back, and a hand full of very specific audio clips from the local radio station have been used as evidence on Buzzfeed unsolved.
Hell there are whole YouTube deep dives over how strange Las Nevadas is. It has no outside presence other than a few radio interceptions and ignoring Karl and Sapnap most people who take trips there don’t come back.
That’s probably not Ponk’s problem though. Hopefully.
