My uncle is the only living Victor in the District; as such, he is one of the few who never goes hungry. But, as I think about the mandatory Game to watch, I'm not envious of him. The Hunger Games is always bloody and horrific.
But even though Haymitch would have plenty to give, my father never asked him for anything. Which Gale knows very well.
'His brother' I correct Gale darkly. Whatever the conflict between my father and my uncle, my Dad considers him a full-fledged brother, even though their father is not shared. Which, again, Gale knows very well.Or, its a different universe, and Katniss's dad is alive. It helps some things, and some things are...dark as ever.

The problem was that no one asked Sirius for his opinion. They used his house as headquarters, Molly made constant comments about how dirty everything was, they used his father's methodical and powerful spells which protected the house - but no one wanted his opinion, not even Remus.
The man suppressed the urge to hiss. He was not a snob, and he did not care in the least for his birth, but he was a Black; he was proud by nature. And he was once raised to be the head of his family, to protect and to lead them, not to blindly follow anyone.Or - where Sirius Black has enough, and eventually decides to rebuild his family. We will follow Sirius, Narcissa, Andromeda, Nymphadora, Lily, Harry, Bellatrix, Draco, baby Delphini, and a Black OC, Aster, as they lead the Black name into the new era.

Summary
This is my 'Fathers of the multiverse' project, where I write little things, about dads who tried to protect their kids, their family, friends and loved ones. Good people, bad people, good dads, bad dads with a flicker of love, because we, as humans, are not perfect, but maybe, all of us have a moment of goodness in us. If I do my job right, there will be 1 for each day of the year for this series.
I will use returning characters, but also, if there's somebody you would want to read about, tell me, and I will do my best.
These are deliberately short, around a hundred words, maybe a little longer, but not much. If I don't choose the characters you would choose, I don't mean that as a personal insult, and I still hope you enjoy these stories.

This is a slow-burn fic with a lot of politics and POVs from all Blacks (including the usually forgotten ones). This is the perfect fit for those who love the Blacks, extensive world-building, and captivating mystery.
