Nancy is, if nothing, incredibly perceptive.
It’s practically a necessity rather than an option, given everything. For one, an aspiring journalist must be keen enough to pick up on the smallest of details, every nook and cranny turned inside out for even a crumb of evidence or information. Plus, considering all these years spent battling literal monsters from another, darker dimension, if she’d been anything other than perceptive, Nancy had no doubt that she’d be dead by now. To be fair, it’s come with a lot of perks.

She caught a glimpse of his face crumpling into a sob before he turned and slammed the door behind him. Nancy swore she felt the walls shake.
