Peppa Pig returns to her hometown for Granny Pig's funeral. Everything is the same, yet too different, and Peppa struggles to feel "at home". In an attempt to become closer to her childhood and roots, she finds herself embroiled in a fake-dating scheme with her childhood enemy Danny Dog to please their respective grandfathers.
A short stay finds itself extended when Peppa grows reconnected to the town, and Danny seems to have taken everything seriously???Self-reflection, growth, returning to one's roots, + a fluffy romance (as tags may suggest!!!)
