But he didn't want something overly aggressive or bigger than him, else it might awake Grant's primal urge to make them submit. And he wanted a hybrid to relax, to blow some steam. To get his rocks off after a job well done.
Something of a middle ground. Mild but not boring, strong but not too defiant.
The stubborn cow he caught sight when they arrived at the fenced area wasn't exactly what he was looking for but he was enthralled nonetheless.
Or: Cow Hybrid Jason is bought by a mercenary with anger issues driven by deep rooted daddy issues who didn't think having an hybrid would cause him this much trouble or emotional energy.
